What is SAD Harmonisation?

SAD Harmonisation is a major step by the European Union towards aligning (“harmonising”) the rules for completion of SAD (Single Administrative Document) Customs declarations across all EU Member States. It introduces changes to the way that Import, Export, Warehousing, Transit and Community Status declarations are completed. For more details please go to the HM Revenue & Customs web site www.hmrc.gov.uk and follow the links.
